Well month after month we just
keep getting better and better, we have the best group of people on the internet
right here in our community!
Another great month with a lot of milestones for our community. Over 140
members and 16,000 posts. We have meets happening all across the country
and many new members enjoying their CSX.

Wow, a lot of milestones last
month, broke over 110 members and 9500 posts!
We have had our first successful CSX meet in Mississauga, 12 CSX owners
showed up, give a way's were provided by Tuckin17"s and Performance Acura so a
huge thanks goes out to them! With that said a big congratulations goes out to our
June Member of the month BlueCSX who set up the May 2006 Meet!

About:
Due to personal reasons, it was
quite difficult to part with my Electron Blue Pearl 2001 Honda
Prelude SE. But it came time for a change and something a little
more practical. So I was in the market for a new vehicle and one
day, my brother in law told me about the new Acura CSX Type-S that
just literally came out on the market. Honestly, I hated the new
Honda Civic/Acura CSX body styling, but through time, not that long
ago, the new Civics started to grow on me and I didn’t even care to
look at the CSX’s. Ironically, one day, my brother-in-law told me
about the new Acura CSX Type-S that just hit the market. Our family
was out shopping one Saturday. We decided to stop off at the Acura
dealership on the way home half hour before they closed. Had a look
at the CSX Type-S and instantly fell in love. The following
Wednesday, I asked my mom to accompany me for a test drive and to
our surprise, we found ourselves negotiating with the sales guy that
same day. After sending him back 4 times to speak with the manager,
we finally worked out a deal and I was the proud owner of a brand
new Taffeta White Acura CSX Type-S. |

I was looking for a nice size car, not too big
and not too small either, 4 doors, with some power and affordable. I
never really liked tinkering around with cars so I wanted something
that had all the bells and whistles already, basically fully loaded.
The CSX Type-S was it. 197 horse power engine, 6 speed close ratio
manual transmission, racing pedals, 17 inch wheels, sport
suspension, performance exhaust, fog lights, HID headlights, turn
signals on side mirrors, 3 spoke steering wheel, leather interior,
VSA, voice activation navigation GPS unit, 350 watt built in sub
woofer, red dash and foot well lights, security system with trunk
release and the list goes on and on… |

I’ve always wanted a white car with tinted windows and finally
made that come true. The only modifications that I’ve done so
far was tinting the windows, removed the front mud guards and
adding some WeatherTech mats. Future modifications may consist
of either the JDM Civic Modulo kit or Mugen kit (still torn
between the two), as well as suspension if my budget allows me
to. Either than that, I don’t see too many changes.
All in all, I’m proud to be apart of the Acura family. But most
importantly, this car has led me to this great site CSXWorld.com,
where I’ve met some wonderful people. Thank you for nominating
me, a new comer, as well as being the very first CSX Type-S,
May’s, Member of the Month. |
